Welcome Class of 2037!

Oakwood Schools is preparing to welcome the Class of 2037.  Kindergarten registration for the 2024 – 2025 school year begins Feb. 26.

To register for next year, youngsters must be five years old on or before Sept. 30, 2024.  Families must reside within the Oakwood Schools district boundaries and demonstrate proof of residence as outlined in the District’s Residency Guidelines found on the District website. 

Once registered, families will receive additional information about Kindergarten Screening, which will take place at the Oakwood Community Center April 15 – 19.  Screening information will be sent to all registered families beginning March 20. 

 

 

 

To begin the online registration process, please visit our Central Registration system on FinalForms starting Feb. 26, 2024.

After you finish your FinalForms form set, please upload the required paperwork.  Kindergarten Screening will take place at the Oakwood Community Center April 15 - 19. Please look for scheduling information to be emailed to registered families beginning March 20.

How to Obtain PROOF OF RESIDENCY

One approved document to show proof of residency is a copy of your deed.  Follow the steps below to download a copy of your deed.

1.  Go to the Montgomery County Auditor's page 
2.  Under Property Search, enter your address and hit search.
3.  Once information is loaded click on your property's assigned Parcel ID.
4.  When the information is loaded, look under Sales and click on your Deed Reference Number (highlighted in blue).
5.  Click on the Camera icon.  Once the image of the deed appears, click on the Print icon and select All Pages. 
6.  Download and print your deed.

How to Obtain Your Birth Certificate

There are three ways to order certificates from the Bureau of Vital Statistics, online, by mail or in person at a local office.
