Career Tech Education assists students in transitioning to college and in guiding students toward successful careers.

Oakwood proudly partners with Kettering Fairmont High School and Centerville High School to offer career technical education courses.  Oakwood High School students who are interested in taking these courses will apply to specific programs through Fairmont High School or Centerville High School.  If chosen, they will attend courses at either of these schools for a portion of the school day and will be at OHS for the remaining part of the day.   Oakwood Schools will provide transportation for these students if needed. Information will go out to Sophomores during the Spring semester for students and parents to learn more about the progams offered and how the application process works.
