OHS going to nationals

Oakwood High School is once again tops in the nation in speech and debate.

OHS competed in the Western Ohio District of the National Speech and Debate Association and won the Leading Chapter Award. The award places OHS Speech and Debate in the top 3 percent of programs across the country. The awarded is based on student participation and success.

The Duo Interpretation team of Claudia Schnell and Emerson Davis placed 1st at the tournament, qualifying to the National Tournament in June! The duo performed a piece taken from the television show "Parks and Recreation."

Lincoln Douglas debaters Robert Einhorn and Michael Ritschel also placed well and secured spots as the first and second alternates to Nationals.
