SUMMER SCHOOL SIGN UP TIMES
2020 Summer School registration packets will be available in the Sr. High Office, the Sr. High Guidance Office, the Jr. High Office, and the Sr. High Book Room beginning Wednesday, February 12th. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5th, current sophomores and juniors may register on a priority basis in the Sr. High Book Room. Beginning Monday, March 9th at 8:00 a.m., and continuing through Friday, April 10th at 3:15 p.m., all students may register for summer classes daily in the Sr. High Book Room. No early registrations accepted.
Please note that the physical education classes will be limited to twenty-five (25) students per class. There will be two classes first session and one class second session. Beginning Monday, March 9th, students will be enrolled on a first-come, first-served basis. The names of students who wish to enroll after the classes are filled will be placed on a waiting list. You will not receive a written confirmation for summer school classes. Please watch for information in the Daily Announcements or contact Joni Sherk at (937) 297-5325 to confirm registration. Class lists will be posted by the Senior High Book Room and by the Junior High Office on Friday, April 24th at 3:15.
Full tuition and any fees for all classes must be paid in the form of cash or check at the time of registration (a separate check for each class). Please make checks payable to Oakwood High School. Please note that checks may not be processed until mid-May. Signed permission forms must also be submitted at the time of registration. Should it become necessary for a student to drop a course after April 17th, refunds will only be issued if registration did not prevent another student from taking the course and/or if the reason for the drop is an unforeseen change in course location. In the event a refund is issued, a $50 processing fee will be assessed.

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
Physical Education I (High School). – 60 hours., one-quarter credit. This course stresses development of skills in a wide variety of individual, dual, and group activities. Students will learn and practice responsible social behaviors in a physical activity setting. At the end of this course, students will be able to find ways to enjoy physical activity throughout their lifetime.
Please note: Students may only take the equivalent of one-quarter credit of Physical Education in Summer School.
Physical Education II (High School). – 60 hours., one-quarter credit. This course provides all students the opportunity to learn the benefits of physical fitness and gain an appreciation of obtaining and maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle.
